The 55 language translating scanner

This is the wireless pen scanner that transmits text from the printed page to a smartphone then translates it into 55 languages. Ideal for international travelers who need to read a menu or newspaper, the scanner resembles a highlighter and is just as simple to use. Upon swiping printed lines, for example a menu entrée, the text instantly appears on a paired device’s screen.

Upon swiping printed lines, for example a menu entrée, the text instantly appears on a paired device’s screen. The scanner’s app then lets users choose the translated language from a dropdown menu—it can even read 40 of them aloud on your smartphone. The scanner can also insert text directly into many popular apps, such as Word, Outlook, and Google docs. Rechargeable battery provides four hours of untethered use from a 2 1/2-hour charge via USB with the included cable. Translation requires Internet connection.
